Low but above basement price for DOC sales. Gets only 2lbs from the topweight
filly in this auction race.
Reviewed at sales and ok size, build and maturity in the context of this
race. Ok mover with some range although possibly not a real 5f type. Rated
71 with a slightly below average chance of being competitive to win at
2yo.
Old sire has had long career producing ok sprint 2yos and they can win
over 5f in early season. Has not had a debut winner in 2002-4 though.
Dam unraced but with ok sprint 2yo pedigree. Has produced two foals that
have shown form at 2yo, although at low level.
New trainer and no information about his approach to debut runs. He has
had one runner in 2005 which was 14th in the Brocklesby at 50/1 and was
never in the race.
In summary an acceptable pedigree and sales review for this race. Lack
of information about trainer's approach makes placing this one difficult.
In any case one to assess for capability of (near) future minor win.

Broke left handed and lost 6 lengths on debut and was adrift of the group
and never got into the race and did not achieve a rating.
Worth checking for an improved performance given the sales review on this
stiffer 5f (which should be better for her) and presumably after some remedial

Again lost ground (5 lengths plus) at the start here last week and never
got into that race. Estimate [0]
This is a tougher race and even though she may have some latent ability
she hasn't show anything so far. Profile [30]

5f Auction |
Declared for this race despite running at Pontefract yesterday. Showed
much more life at Pontefract and galvanised to make a good start from a
low draw and assisting with the pacemaking on the rail before stalling
in the straight. Plugged on and probably rated slightly better than profile.
Unpenalised for sales price in this auction race if she runs.

Did not run at Redcar.
Trainer runs two in the race and both are on their 4TO runs. Both have
shown some improvement on their 3TO runs and run much more prominently
and pressing the pace. Previously they had been behind in races usually
after slow starts.
Penalised 3lb for her sales price. Runs on a easier track after still being
in touch coming to the final furlong at uphill Pontefract. Given the positive
sales review in the context of this type of race she could show further

Midfield run at Musselburgh at 66/1. Estimate [31] The ran
in a Beverley seller where the pacemakers went too quikly and she had the
advantage of being outpaced and came through for second as the leaders
faded. Estimate [39]
