April 12th: Declared for Newmarket 5f Conditions	Made solid price at Doncaster St Leger sales. Higher price than either of his trainer's previous two 2yo runners in 2003-4. Reviewed at the sales and rated 65 with an average chance of being a competitive 2yo at his level. Looked a minor early season winner at best although had acceptable size and build. Irish based sire has had few UK runners but an acceptable record with them. He gets winners over all distances but can get early 5f winners, some of good quality. Older dam has produced minor winners. The full brother was placed over 5f in Ireland in 2004 rating 60. Trainer took over from father and has only had two 2yos runners which were in 2003. These two runners made later season debuts and both were competent and (probably) close to their best rating FTO. In summary the pedigree of a minor winner and sales review supported that view. Trainer appears to get runners competent on debut although very limited information. Receives 9lb from the previous winners and 3lb from Cool Creek because he is on debut. Profile [58 + 9 = 67]
