May 26th: Bath 5f Maiden Fillies'	Made a good price at the Doncaster St Leger sales and a high price for the trainer. Trainer looked after a previous sibling - Lady Noor - and the dam's best sibling. By second season sire who had 5 moderate to average winners in first season, only one at 5f although two early runners showed 60s form over 5f. He has had four runners so far in 2005 and similar hints that runners will be better for 6f than 5f. Dam was a multiple seller & claimer winner for J. Berry showing moderate form levels. She has produced one foal who has shown better, and useful, form who cost the same as this one. Stable does not target FTO wins but most runners are competent on debut and within 5-8lb of their best rating FTO (rating 60-74 range for runners with ability). Most runners are unplaced at longer SPs on debut because of the overall low quality of her 2yos. She has had 7 previous debuts in 2005 which have been unplaced and match the usual model. In summary ought to be a competitive 2yo capable of 70+ rating but trainer has not got going with 2yos yet. A prominent performance would be a good sign of a better type that could develop further.
