Made a low price at the Tattersalls Part 2 sales and typical of the trainer's
purchase level.
By a fourth season sire who made a solid start in 2002 with 2yos and can
get early 5-6f winners. His record has declined in the common way in the
last two seasons as he has had less chances. He has had four solid debut
runs from six 2yos in 2005, one has won STO.
Dam has a mixed pedigree and placed over 10f at 3yo.
Small stable has 2yos competent on debut and the better types can place
and occasionally win. FTO SPs are always long and a poor indicator of performance.
In summary a pedigree that could produce a 65+ rated sprint 2yo and the
sire can sometimes get 5f runners out of stouter dams. First solid profile

33/1 at Newmarket in a race hwere the winner set a strong pace in a 'personal'
time trial and only two others tried to chase him. The others grouped together
and finished in a heap. Lost 2L on the pick-up and on the back of the main
group but more than 8L off the leader. Made some progress in the last 2f
to get to the front of the moderate group in a modest 4th. Estimate

16/1 at Sandown and raced on the rail which was an advantage. Showed improved
form. Tracked the leader byt 2L at halfway and made slight progress when
switched left inside 2f out and kept on for second. Estimate [68]
