  • Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales.
  • By a first season sire with a mixed pedigree that showed 2yo form over 6f. Sire made a moderate impression with yearlings and many were small although often with better builds.
  • Sire has had seven moderate debuts so far over 5f (one won STO at 100/1) and three ok at 5.7-6f (one a targeted debut win in a weak race).
  • The sire also had the winner of the first 7f race of the season yesterday (a poor seller) and possibly suggesting his 2yos need 6f+ and more time to develop and his record will improve after the moderate start over 5f.
  • Dam has a good record at stud and had produced a variety of winners from precocious 5f 2yos to 10-12f 3yo types. 5 have shown better than average ability.
  • Trainer does not target FTO wins and those that win on debut are normally his best runners (or targeted debuts for specific owners).  
  • He has had 7 FTO wins from 28 runs in 2005 and above his usual rate although most of those fit the model of being better class 2yos running for one of the specific owners.
