Retained for poor price at Tattersalls part 1 sales.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 57 and with a low chance of being competitive
other then in the lowest quality races. Quite neat but too small.
Third season sire made excellent start in 2003 with 2yos with a lot of
winners and plenty of quality. 2004 was a real step back with less
runners and just 7 average to moderate winners. 2005 likely to be closer
to 2004 than 2003.
Sire ok for 5f but winners tend to be from May onwards and has a poor debut
win record.
Trainer used to target early 2yo wins but has recently changed and 2yo
runners tend to need their debut run to develop from. He has had three
poor debut runs from 4 so far in 2005. The one good debut was at Newmarket
and he tends to run lesser types away from the major courses.
