Made solid price at Tattersalls part 2 sales.
By an American sire and his first 2yo runner in the UK. He won over 6f
at 2yo.
Dam was a useful 10f 3yo winner in France.
Trainer has poor 2yo record, debuts usually competent but at low level,
gets occasional placed debuts in weak races including in early season.
He has had two typical debuts in 2005.
In summary not an obviously 5f pedigree but might be ok for this stiff
5f on good to soft in a moderate race. Has the positives of sales price
and trainer has runners ready to rate highly within their overall range
on debut. So ought to be competitive for a place in a moderate race although
trainers overall record in getting 2yos wins a negative. Profile

11/2 at Pontefract in a poor to moderate race with no strong market clues.
Pressed the pace in that race but ran 4 wide on the uphill, left hand turn.
A neck off the pace she came under pressure in the straight and faded from
before the final furlong. Estimate [42]
Finished one place behind Fancy You who also runs in this race. That runner
was further off the pace and stayed on past her. The form of that race
looks poor with none of the runner competed well in better races since.
Fancy You was well beaten in a poor Catterick race next and Martharum (who
was second 1f out but faded completely) was dropped to a claimer for example.
Steps up to 6f on a flatter track and should show slightly better form
if she settles better. However, from a low base and the trainer's 2yos

Small and limited although has some early pace at a low level.
