  • Exceptional sire is now deceased. Has a good record with 2yos but runners tend to develop with time. He has not had a 2yo winner before June in Britain 2002-4. 
  • Sire can get 5f winners but better record and more quality with 6f+ wins. 
  • He has had five runners in Britain in 2005. One has won over 6f and r three have placed on their debuts, two over 5f. 
  • Dam a sprint winner in the US has produced two 7-8f 2yo winners.
  • Major trainer does not target debut wins and those he gets are usually with superior types and more likely later in the season. However, his first 2yo winner of the season has won in the last 2 seasons although the other earlier debuts have been more typical.

  • 14/1 at Haydock in a race with a good pace. Lost 4L with a slow break but recovered ok to be 4L off the lead after 1F and at halfway. No progress as the pacemakers fade and finished 7th of 16.  Estimate [40]
  • A moderate debut but could be rated better with a good break. Difficult to judge which of the trainer's duff debuts will show notable improvement. At 14/1 she was the longest debut SP so far this year. Profile [66 + 5 = 71]
