  • Made a poor price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales.
  • Sire has average 2yo record but can get early 5f runners and winners tend to be competitive on debut. He has had a minor STO winner in 2005. 
  • Dam has a good pedigree and was trained by H Cecil. She was typically wound up and ready on her only run in a maiden at 3yo and finished 2nd. She never ran again but that one run told us how good she is. She produced a good 5f 2yo with here first foal but disappointing types since. 
  • Trainer mostly concentrates on older horses and NH but runs a few, cheap, 2yos each season and gets the odd minor win. Debut runs tend to be uncompetitive and he targets STO runs for the 'peak'. FTO SP is a poor indicator of expected ability. 
  • His first debut in 2005 was unexpectedly prominent as a front runner and hung on for third at 9/1 in a moderate performance.
  • The trainer ran a poor filly in the race at 100/1 in 2004.
