Made above average price at DSL sales, particularly for a filly.
By sire with a very good and consistent record with 2yos. Gets early, precocious
sprinters and good record with debut runners. Solid percentage of useful+
2yos. Notable for runners having better record on GF+ going.
Dam had moderate to average pedigree and was cheaply retained at the sales.
She was an April 5f winner as a 2yo and developed over a long career to
rate 100+. Has had three previous foals and moderate runners.
Trainer had increase in 2yos in 2004 and best runner was competitive on
debut in mid-April. With less 2yos and quality in previous season debuts
usually poor. SP on debut has not been an indicator of better ability.
In summary a very good pedigree for an early 5f 2yo but doubts over dam's
produce record. Trainer has variable debut record but presume this one
would be competent. Profile [61]

Warwick 5f Mf (5) |
Did not run in the Musselburgh race.
Trainer has had one filly run in the race in 2004 that finished 8th at
25/1. This looks a better prospect though.
Summary from Musselburgh valid here. Profile [61]

Post Race |
A slight disappointment given her sales price and likeable pedigree. However
the other foals from the dam have been disappointing and this one did not
look she had developed from the sales.
Rated 70? in a moderate group and rating may have been a little high because
of 'trying to find something to be positive about' in the group. Deep in
front and ok length but narrow and lighter behind.
Looked slightly mentally immature and this showed up in the race with a
slow break and went left and bumped Rundear. Got behind before some progress
in straight and then fading.
Trainer had his best filly (Sapphire Dream) ready to compete well on
debut in 2004 and this one did not show similar ability nor readiness.
Has a little scope to develop but difficult to see her being 75+. Watch
next time. Estimate [23] |

Poor run on debut and not looking ready to compete. Trainer's second debut
runner in 2005 was similar. Profile [51]

Opened 20/1 and finished 25/1. She never got into her early debut race
at Warwick and had looked limited to getting to around a 70 rating at best
if she developed. She ran to expectations here by showing improved form
but not looking competitive. She settled within 2 lengths of the pacemakers
at halfway and was slightly outpaced after 2f out as the race 'quickened'.
She plugged on maintaining her relative position to the others with the
exception of the first two.
An improved run but not suggesting she's going to develop beyond the earlier
assessment. However, worth noting she is by a sire with a better record
on GF+ going which she hasn't seen yet. Estimate [51]
