  • Made a solid price at the Tattersalls breeze up sale sin April and a reasonable increase from the yearling level. Owned by Sheikh Mohammed's son who has targeted 2yo racing and breeze up buys in 2004.
  • Sire has below average record with 2yos after his Hamdam Al Maktoum supported first season in 2001. Gets odd 5f winner but runners tend to need 6f+ and to be better from mid-season onwards.  
  • Sire has had 8 moderate runners in 2005 but one STO winner at 5f on the stiff Carlisle course.
  • Dam a 4yo winner in the US has produced two 65-74 rated 2yos who have raced for Sheikh Mohammed and Ahmed Al Maktoum.
  • 17th June - Goodwood 6f Auction. = Made debut as topweight in an Auction race at 33/1. Ran in the centre of the course and tracked an average pace by 2L at halfway from 5th place. Outpaced by the winner 2F out before pluggin on to take 3rd in the final uphill furlong.  Estimate [70]
  • Trainer has only had one seller level 2yo winner in 2005 but normally targets STO for 'peak'. The breeze-up buys for this owner seem to be a little more forward than his average FTO. In summary she has the best form in the race but dropping back to 5f on a sharp track did not seem to be the best option for STO.  Profile [70]
