Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls Part 2 sales but above the price
of his seller winner sibling.
Second season sire made acceptable start in 2004 with 2yos but better record
for 6f+. He has had two 5f winners so far in 2005.
Dam was an above average 6-7f 2yo winner. Here sole 2yo runner was sprint
winner in sellers.
Trainer did not target FTO wins up to 2003 and debut runs were normally
uncompetitive at longer SPs. 2yos tended to show good improvement to STO.
However, in 2004 he probably had a good set of 2yos and the debuts run
were much more competitive with a win and two second places.
His first two debuts in 2005 (in the same race) finished 3rd & 4th
and have shown no improvement STO. The third was a plugging on 4th in a
seller.
In summary could be a competitive 6f+ 2yo rating in the 60s and the trainer
appears to have his 2yos reasonably well forward again for their debuts
