Owner bred and the previous foals have been with the same trainer.
Minor sire has had a decreasing number of 2yos although he is capable of
siring competitive sprint 2yos and occasionally useful. He seems to have
a lot of owner bred 2yos in 2005 and has already produce two moderate to
average 5f winners.
Dam was unraced at 2yo and won a 7f maiden on her debut at 3yo. She has
produced two bigger 2yos who have shown form over 6f+ at 2yo. The better
of these has been useful.
Trainer has only a few 2yo runners each season. The debut runs tend to
be competent but 10lbs or more below final rating He had two early season
debut winners in 2004 but they were with better types who showed 20lb+
better ratings later in the season. One of these wins was with the half
sister to this runner who won the 6f maiden on the card FTO rating around
70 and rated around 90 at best.
In summary a solid pedigree to be competitive as a 2yo over 6f+ but would
need to be useful, at least, to compete in this solid Novice on debut.
