Made lowish price at Tattersalls part two (cheaper end) sales.
Reviewed at the sales and was rated 61, with a slightly below average chance
of being a competitive 2yo at her level. Noted as being rather narrow.
By second season sire who made a good start with 2yos in 2004 with a solid
number of winners and notable for some good quality types. Got 5f winners
but runners tended to be better from May onwards.
Dam is well related (to stayer such as Rainbow Heights) but a poor runner
over middle distances. Has produced moderate 2yos which sold better than
this one to a 'faster & earlier' sire in Royal Applause. The runner
by a stouter stayer started out in NH Flat races.
Trainer gets 2yos ready and professional on debut and better ones can win.
Normally enters runners in suitable races. Had introduced both poor and
useful types in the early season Lingfield auction races.
On the evidence of 2005 he does not get his debut runners as fit &
ready as he did up to 2002. None of the first 8 debuts managed to place
although the ninth won a muddling race this week and hints that his stable
is getting into form.
In summary does not have a 5f pedigree but her trainer operates a 'one-size-fits-all'
approach so they all have to have a go over 5f early anyway. Trainer's
debuts have not been competitive overall in 2005. Sales review suggested
a minor 60s rating winner over further at best and a surprise if she has
the pace for this. Has the usual 5lb apprentice riding. Profile

20/1 and as expected did not show the pace to compete in a solid race of
its type. Estimate [35]

April 15th: Thirsk
Fillies' Novice |
The trainer has won the last three runnings of the race, all with fillies
who had shown winning form before running here. Although the stable is
in slightly better form after a slow start he seems to lack an even moderate
to average filly (none have won).

April 18th: Pontefract
5f Maiden Fillies' |
Ran an uncompetitive 4th at Thirsk on Soft ground never getting into the
race and plugging on late in line with her 6f+ pedigree.
Runs only 3 days after previous run (has she been back home?) and with
7lb apprentice riding (no the stable's own 5lb apprentice who rode at Thirsk.).
In summary the uphill 5f on GS ground should be ok for her but unlikely
to see great improvement although probably competitive to place in a moderate
race if the 7lb apprentice is ok. Profile [52]

Has shown moderate form in three 5f races and her third at Pontefract LTO
looks worse now given the poor way that the other fillies in the race have
competed since. Unlikely to show much improvement although worth noting
that the trainer seems to be getting his claimer level types much fitter
