Made a good price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 70 with an above average chance of being
a 2yo winner. Medium size and above average build. Neat and looked more
like a Polar Falcon than Alhaarth. Moderate scope to develop.
Dam won over 6f on her late May debut for J Fanshawe and won a 7f Group
3 later in the season.
Organised trainer does not strongly target 2yo racing and aims to win a
maiden in the first two runs and then step the better 2yos up to Listed+
races.
Debut runs are usually competent and he does target debut wins with better
types that will have been assessed at home. STO runs will have been planned
in these cases and the follow up race will be within 21 days.
He has already run two 2yos in early May (an unusually early start) with
a good FTO winner with the best of them
In summary a 6f+ pedigree but the trainer is notable for starting 2yos
at shorter distances and then stepping them up, often in 2F jumps. Likely
