May 30th: Sandown
5f Maiden Fillies' |
Made a high price at the Tattersalls Part 1 sales and similar to her foal
price in the US.
Sire has a variable but better than average record with 2yos and they tend
to be better for 6f+ and development through the season.
He has made a good start to 2005 with four M Channon trained 5-6f winners
inclduing two on debut.
Dam was placed over 7f at 2yo and won over that distance at 3yo showing
avergae form. She is quire well related. Her one Britaish raced 2yo was
a moderate placed 2yo over 7f.
Rich, owner-trainer has sold off his 1000 employee company in Sweden and
devotes more of his time to training. Notable for the relative quality
of the 2yos he can purchase for a 'new' trainer.
The five 2yos he has run in 2003-4 have usually made later season debuts.
They have usually been competent
He has had one earlier debut in 2005 over 5f who showed inexperience on
debut but finished 4th in an average maiden and won STO.
In summary just an ok pedigree and probably better for 6f+ (as was the
trainer's first debut in 2005 over 5f). Likely to be reasonably well prepared
for debut. Market support would be significant given that the trainer assesses
his 2yos before they run. Profile [62]
