  • Made a middling price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales and very similar to the previous two runners from the dam. At the low end of the trainer's normal range.
  • Reviewed at the sales and rated 57. Tiny and below medium build. Narrow & weak in front.
  • Sire has a moderate record with 2yos. Gets winners at 6f+ and these tend to be from June onwards.
  • Dam was a moderate 6f 2yo but has produced two better 6f+ 2yo winners.
  • First runner of the season for the trainer.
  • The earliest debuts in each year will be a range of types, including both later winners and moderate maidens.
  • His basic strategy with 2yos is to win a maiden their first three runs and then the better runners may run in Listed+ races and the others will wait for their 3yo season. This means that most wins are usually in the first runs and 4TO+ wins are usually rare. 
  • Although he does not normally target FTO wins his runners are usually very competent on debut (especially the later season debuts) and run within 10lbs of their best rating. This means that he can get FTO winners with superior runners and that most runners with ability will make the first four on debut. 
  • In summary looked a moderate type at the sales but so did Cammies Future and he developed to be an 80+ rated 2yo thanks to P Chapple-Hyam. Debut readiness out to be ok but need to assess this as the trainer's first runner.  Profile [53 + 10 = 63]

  • 11/2 at Sandown and well drawn next to the rail at a meeting where that was advantageous. Slightly dwelt in the stalls then came out and swerved violently left, partly unseated the jockey. Then bucked to ensure she got rid of him. Covered about 50 yards.
  • Steps up to 6f and runs just 6 days later with the same jockey.  Profile [50 + 3 = 53]
