  • Retained for a middling price at the Tattersalls part 1 sales. Notably less than some of the dam's previous foals who have been moderate runners.
  • By sire with a very good and consistent record with 2yos. Gets early, precocious sprinters and good record with debut runners. Solid percentage of useful+ 2yos. Notable for runners having better record on GF+ going.
  • Sire has had two winners this season both on firmer ground.
  • Dam is well related to a number of tough sprinters (Bolshoi, Tod, Great Chaddington) but did not win. She has produced a range of mostly moderate winners and some have made highish sales prices.
  • Major trainer does not target FTO wins and they tend to come along with better types. He has made a slow start to 2005 but has now had four winners and the recent debuts have been solid while lacking the final 'edge'. 
  • He has had one FTO winner in a weak Windsor race from 23 debuts so far with another 10 placed. In the last three years he has debuted some better fillies from the period mid-May to early June and a number have won. In 2003 Enford Princess won this race on debut and in 2004 both Group winner Jewel In The Sand and useful Dont Tell Mum won on debut in this period.
