5f Auction |
Made solid price at Tattersalls Ireland sales.
By veteran sire who has a good record with 2yos. Has better record at 6f+
but can get precocious 5f types.
Dam was a 2yo winner in Germany and has produced winners there.
Trainer usually has his early debuts ready to run to close to their best
rating.
In summary an acceptable pedigree to be a moderate to average 2yo sprint
winner. Likely to be competent on debut. Penalised 2lb for sales price.

May 16th: Bath
5f Novice |
25/1 and ran a typically competent trainer debut here FTO. Well drawn in
3 with the field going centre track on softer ground. Prominent early and
tracked the pace by 1L at halfway. Slightly outpaced inside 2F out and
a little late fade. Estimate [56]
A solid debut and the later performances of the three that finished in
front of him suggest that was a good race by early season standards. Trainer
has his 2yos mostly ready on debut and they tend to show only 5-8lbs further
progression in rating. Profile [64 + 7 = 71]
