  • Made a middling price at the Tattersalls Part 2 sales. E Dunlop trained a half bother with Pure Speculation.
  • Reviewed at the sales and rated 63 with a slightly below average chance of being a 2yo winner. Smallish and just under average build he lacked muscle and notably physically immature. 
  • By a first season sire with a mixed pedigree that showed 2yo form over 6f. Sire made a moderate impression with yearlings and many were small although often with better builds. 
  • Sire has had mostly moderate runners so far over 5f but had his first winner yesterday in a Haydock Auction race.
  • Major trainer does not target 2yo racing and has a moderate record with them. The last three seasons have been poor. He is notable for not targeting strong debuts and debut wins are very rare (usually with Maktoum owner breds in later season). 
  • Each season the trainer has run a number of sales buys targeted at 2yo racing as well as those that are Maktoum family owned. He does not have a good record with these although they tend to be readier than his usual debut. 
  • He has had one earlier debut in 2005 who was second in a race lacking depth FTO and won on the AW STO. The trainer used the race in 2002 to introduce a 70 rated STO winner (at Southwell on turf).
  • In summary has the profile to be a 70ish rated 2yo and probably has developed reasonably well from the sales. Trainer debuts are usually educational.  Profile [61]
