Made a good, but not high, price at the Tattersalls part 1 sales.
US Based sire. His three 2yo runners here in 2003-4 have included a Group
2 5f winner (Howick Falls in 2003) & and impressive STO maiden winner
(Storm Silk).
Dam was a Listed winner in the US and has produced a useful placed 2yo
in Britain over 8f.
Major trainer does not target FTO wins and they tend to come along with
better types. He has made a slow start to 2005 but the recent debuts have
been solid while lacking the final 'edge'.
He runs two in this race and D. O'Neill rides this one while R. Hughes
rides the other. Trainer has used the race for moderate to average types
(58-72 raters) in 2002 & 2004.
In summary appears to be the second string and would need to be useful
to beat runners with previous experience. Profile [58 + 7 = 65]
