Made solid price for filly at the sales given the pedigree.
Sire has an acceptable record with 2yos. Can get early 5f winners and has
record is better in that area for having trainer M Channon supporting him.
Dam has minor 'all sprint' pedigree and competitive at seller level across
5 seasons of racing. Has produced one poor runner that sold for basement
price at the breeze up sales.
Trainer tends to identify his 2yos capable of early wins before the season
starts and that is a plus point for this one entered this early.
Trainer's debut runners in March tend to place but not quite be ready to
win.
Trainer has three entries in this race and had competitive 60s winner (on
STO) finish second in race in 2004 at 2/1jf.
In summary an interesting filly. Good sales price given her background
and this linked to respect for the trainer's ability to assess a yearling.
Early entry another positive. Probable third string of trainer's entries

Drifted from 11/4 to 7/2jf. She broke well and sat third around 1-2 lengths
off the pair who went to quick and in front of the winner. She made an
effort in the straight and made a little progress before fading in the
last furlong.
Ran a similar race to the trainer's other runner this season. Worth at
least seeing what she can do next time with a normal pace on better ground
when she's readier. Estimate [35]

Trainer has only run four 2yos for a total of six runs to date. They made
early debuts in line with his normal methods but none have placed and Lindus
Atenor is his first runner since April 20th. By the same date in 2004 nine
2yos had made their debuts and won 4 of their 21 races along with 6 places.
In 2003 seven 2yos had been introduced and won 5 of their 12 races plus
6 places.
She is the first runner after a break for the trainer. The race she finished
5th in on debut looks ok in context of today. Good 2yo trainer ought to
get into form but slightly lower confidence after slow start. This performance
