Owner bred by M. Obaida who owned Sayyedati.
Sire has had an increased number of 2yos runners in 2003-4 (possibly due
to the success of Fantastic Light). He gets winners at all distances. He
has had one debut winner and three moderate runners in 2005.
Dam won at Group 1 level from 2yo to 5yo. She has had a patchy stud career
with one Group 2 7f 2yo the highlight (ran only twice).
Trainer has a moderate record overall with 2yos given the quality he usually
has and mainly gets wins only with the very best of them. The earliest
debuts each season can include inexperienced runs although debuts from
the end of May onwards tend to competent and the better types can win.
He has had nine debuts so far which have all been unplaced. He normally
only gets wins with his best 2yos and the 5 winners by this point in 2003-4
have been Menhoubah, Badminto, Tony James, Fox & Extreme Beauty. His
record so far in 2005 suggests he may not have a precocious 6f 2yo.
Trainer used the race in 2003 to introduce the useful+ Badminton who won
an average edition quite comfortably.
In summary would need to be a useful+ type to win FTO. Pedigree suggests
