Appears not to have gone to the sales.
Sire has a solid 2yo record and gets winners at a range of distances and
ok for 5f. In 2004 he got three early 5f winners but two of those were
at poor or moderate level.
Dam was unraced and has produced one moderate runner over longer distances
from five foals.
Younger trainer with developing stable and has tried different approaches
to debut runs with 2yos. However his earliest debut in 2002 and 2004 were
competitive to place and one won. In 2004 the earliest debuts produced
a win and two seconds at 14/1, 10/1 and 9/2. None of these three improved
after their second run. However, most of those debut places were in weaker
races than this promises to be.
Trainer has two runners and not obvious from jockeys which is preferred.
In summary difficult to judge without sales clues but the pedigree of a
moderate winner at best. Preference is for the trainer's other runner on

both with the same jockeys.
Trainer has had one placed runner from three 2yos that have made a STO
run after a break shorter than 8 days.
Both runners showed inexperience and fades on debut here. This one has

One of four runners in the race whose form is tied together by two maiden
races run in slowish & slow times on turf at Folkestone. Runs against
his stablemate Magidene for the third time. This race is a different test.
Has shown moderate form and no obvious signs that he has better ability.
