Made middling price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales.
Sire has average record with 2yos. Gets the occasional 5f winner but better
over 6f+.
The dam won over 7f at 2yo in Ireland showing useful form but was disappointing
afterwards. She has produced two average+ winners who have developed as
3yos to show their best form.
Trainer has a poor to moderate record with 2yos and has produced 16 winners
of 16 races from 115 2yos in the last 6 seasons and a low strike rate.
This would not be good record with bargain basement 2yos but he has many
more expensive types.
Debuts are usually uncompetitive and at long SPs. They have been more competent
in recent seasons and tend to rate in the 40-60 range.
His first debut in 2005 was a solid 4th here rating 61.
In summary a 6f+ pedigree and likely to need to develop from this debut.

into a '2f sprint'. Broke a little slowly and lost more than a length.
Last of five at halfway and 3L off the lead. Outpace notably as the race
quickened and slightly faded from 1f out. Estimate [53]
Steps up to 6f and should show minor improvement but STO run ratings can

14/1 at Brighton in a race where the four pacemakers finished 5th-8th and
the first 4 came from off the pace. Quite free running early but settled
and held up more than 3L of fthe pace at halfway. Made an wffort from 2f
out and slightly hampered before keeping on for 2nd behind a clear winner.
