Racing Summary
DATE PROFILE/COMMENTS
March 31st : Declared
5f Conditions - Brocklesby
at Doncaster
  • Poor price for the DSL sales.
  • By little used sire who can get occasional 2yo winner. For example got the winner of this race in 2001 with Shuffling Kid.
  • Older dam has produced on moderate runner since her 1996 foal.
  • Trainer attached to Duckhaven stud and has a simple strategy of getting runners very fit and ready for the first races of the season and runners will be close to their best on debut.
  • Trainer had a surprise second in this race in 2002 in a rain affected race which split across the track and the placed horses finished on the far side.
  • Trainer has had one runner in a seller in 2005 who was very fit and well prepared on debut but a poor attitude meant he did not show his best.
  • Trainer has two runners in the race. This one has 3lb apprentice riding.
  • In summary likely to be ready to do her best on debut but not good enough.  Profile [40]
  • March 31st: Doncaster
    Post Race
  • Dropped her jockey on the way to post but kept with the other horses and was soon caught. Well beaten in the race. Estimate [23]
  • April 7th: Declared for
    Leicester 5f Maiden
  • Both trainer's runners in the Brocklesby gave trouble going to post and one was withdrawn. Both of those runners are declared for this race and both with apprentices riding. Profile [40]
  • April 7th: Leicester
    Post Race
  • Rated 56. Second fittest in the group. Ok build and muscle but too lengthy and short. Again showed attitude and dropped jockey immediately she went onto course. Taken back to stables and delayed race.
  • Once remounted she ran freely to post and then in the race. Set the pace at a free pace (although a moderate rate) for as long as she could on tiring ground before fading to last. Was the first string of her trainer's runners on SP. Can do better but set-up will limit her. Estimate [25]
  • May 2nd: Warwick
    5f Maiden Fillies'
  • Ran a poor race at Leicester and has looked limited. Would be suited by better ground.  Profile [40]
