  • Retained for a middling to solid price at the Tattersalls Part 2 sale.
  • Reviewed at the sales and rated 64. Below average size and lightly built. Narrow and lacking some power behind.
  • First season sire made good impression at sales and yearlings sold well. He won over 7f at 2yo but reverted to a top class sprinter at 3yo.
  • His early runners over 5f have competed just averagely well with places but no wins. He had his first win with a debut runner over 6f in a moderate to average Ayr maiden.  
  • Dam has US pedigree and well related but unraced. She has produced one useful 2yo in France and a moderate placed 5f filly in Britain that cost more than this one.
  • Major 2yo trainer does not target strong debuts and FTO wins come along with the useful 2yos. He has only had a single FTO win and 12 places from 36 debuts to date (partly indicating the lack of some quality 2yos). 
  • The trainer introduced a number of useful 2yos in this period in 2004 but has not shown that trait so far in 2005 (perhaps he doesn't have them?)
