Bred by the trainer and probably still owned by him on debut.
By a first season sire that showed best form at 7f as a 2yo winning a Group
1 race as the stable's third string.
Sire made an average to good impression at the sales. B2yoR reviewed 12
of his yearlings and most were rated at an acceptable level although the
cheaper ones tended to be moderate types.
He has had five poor runners to date.
Dam had produced one winner over 16f.
Major 2yo trainer has settled into his normal pattern of debut runs mostly
being educational with the better types being able to place and occasionally
win. He is notable for running many 2yos over distances which look short
of their best on pedigree analysis.
In summary unlikely to be the better types that can win a solid Novice

14/1 on debut. Lost a little ground at the start and got behind in a race
with a solid pace. 5L behind at halfway and kept on late through moderate
type to finish 3rd. Estimate [66]
Finished with moderate types at Brighton but some promise with the finish.

7/1 fourth favourite at Windsor in a moderate to average maiden. Got alittle
behind ealy but progress to chase the leaders at halfway. Weakened to a
poor 12th.
Runs only 3 days after a poor run at Windsor. Debut run probably 5lb over-rated.

Post Race |
Looked unwilling at Yarmouth and a poor run. Typically dropped to a seller
by the stable who often do this with cheap buys and home breds who look
unlikely to win in better company. Won by 6L but (unusually) bought in
for 12,000 guineas.
