  • Made a solid price at the Tattersalls Part 1 sales.
  • Reviewed at the sales and rated 68 with an above average chance of being a 2yo winner. Average size and build, in proportion and neat overall. Nothing to dislike but nothing striking.
  • High class sire has a good but not startling record with 2yos. Gets winners at all distances and get high quality types. Gets occasional 5f winners (3 in the period 2002-4) but better record 6f+.   
  • He has had three moderate runners so far in 2005, both over 6f. One appeared to show improved form for 6f. 
  • Dam quite well related and her first foal showed poor form on a late season 2yo debut.
  • Trainer uses common strategy of trying to win a maiden in the first two runs with 2yos and then step the better types up to Conditions+ races.   
  • The debuts tend to be competent and to a good level within the 2yos ability. In 2004 they seemed to have their runners slightly more ready on debut and got two early FTO wins.   
  • Of the previous debuts in 2005 one drifted in the market and showed some inexperience and finished 4th.  The other lost four lengths at the start and also looked inexperienced but stayed on to win a moderate race.
