  • Made a solid price in the Select Session of the Tattersalls Part 1 sales. Not high in a session where six figure prices were commonplace.
  • His sire has just an average record with his British based 2yos and runners tend to be better for 7f+ although he does get 6f winners. His only British runner in 2005 would a slowish division of a 6f maiden on debut.
  • Well related dam was a useful placed 2yo and won over 10f at 3yo. She has produced two useful 7f+ 2yos the most recent won on his August debut at 7f.
  • Trainer with a set strategy has started running his 2yos over the last week. The first 6 runners have produced 2 wins and three places in moderate races. In general they have looked mostly ready but not wound up and have competed well partly because of the weakness of the opposition. 
  • The earliest runners in each season will include most of the winners. He assesses his 2yos at home before they run and will have a plan with most of them depending upon the ability they have.
  • He used the race in 2003 to introduce the useful 5f 2yo First Order who was a strong third.
  • In summary a pedigree better for 7f but might be ok for 6f. Trainer's debuts have competed well so far by running to 55-68 ratings in moderate races. This lloks to be another of the same standard so no surprise to see him competitive.  Profile [65]
