  • Solid price for Tattersalls (Ir) sales.
  • Sire now in his fourth season and made good impression in 2002 with his first 2yos. After two ok seasons with less runners this season should see him with more runners in recognition of the good start in 2002. He can get early 5f types.
  • Dam well related and showed good form in good races without winning in an inconsistent career for D. Elsworth then R. Hannon. Her stud career has followed the path of her racing career with a good start followed by a lull and then a return, with hints of better things but ratings in the 80s mostly.
  • Trainer does not target FTO wins but has had a debut winner with his first runner in 2003 (6/1) and 2004 (14/1). They were both useful to superior types. Normal debuts rate between 50 to 64 for average to useful winners.
  • Trainer has two entries in this race and this looks the first string.
  • In summary an interesting 2yo. A lot of positives and hints of possible better quality type. Could be competitive for win if better type.  Profile [63]
