Sire has average record with 2yos although he only rarely gets 5f winners
and rarely winners before mid-season. Better types tend to develop through
the season
Dam was US bred and a useful turf winner there. this is her first foal.
Trainer has been putting an increasing emphasis on 2yos in 2002-4. He does
not target FTO wins and did not have a FTO winner between 1994 to 2004.
In 2003-4 he has had a debut winner in each season but both have rated
30lbs or more below their best for their debut win.
He has had one poor debut runner in 2005.
In summary the trainer is notable for running 2yos over 5f which actually
need 7f or more. This is part of a development strategy so that they get
a usable weight that they can compete off over longer distance nurseries
later in the season. This looks more like that type than a high class runner
