Sold as a foal for acceptable price in the context of this race.
Second season sire made good start with a relatively small group of 2yos
in 2004. Got winners over all distances including over 5f and reasonably
early in the season.
Dam was unraced at 2yo and showed poor form up to middle distances at 3yo
in Ireland.
Trainer has had a decrease in 2yos in 2003-4 and those he has tend to be
cheaply bought and make early debuts.
Most runners tend to be competent on debut and within 5-8lbs of their final
rating. He has not had a FTO winner since 2000 but the moderate types he
has that are capable of a win usually show up on debut and can place. Profile
