April 21st: Beverley 5f Claimer	Not sold for poor price at Tattersalls part 2 sales. By second season sire who made poor to moderate start with 2yos in 2004 getting mainly poor seller level wins including at 5f in early season. Dam has bred a variety of runners from an 160k Sheikh Mohammed purchase downwards and this one looks the least able by some way. Trainer has poor to moderate record with 2yos. Runners are usually ready to run early season and to their best on debut. They often run prominently (and freely) and their form tends to tail off quicly. He has 5 places on debut from 7 runners in 2005 at SPs ranging from 14/1 to 50/1. Only one of these has won since and the STO runs have shown mixed improvement. Trainer runs two in the race and its usually difficult to tell from SPs and/or jockey arrangements which is 'preferred'. In summary a limited type but likely to be prominent on debut.
