Retained for solid price at Tattersalls October part 2 sales.
Reviewed at sales and rated only 58 with a below average chance of being
competitive at her level at 2yo. She was small, lengthy, short and 'boatish'.
She was an odd mover behind. In summary a lot had to improve for her to
be competitive.
Now deceased sire has an average record with 2yos and gets winners at all
distances. Can get early 5f runners.
Dam was a poor quality AW winner over 5-7f and did not run until the November
of her 3yo season.
Trainer does not target 2yo racing. Debuts, especially early season tend
to be poor. Has had a minor winner in both 2003-4 and both made poor northern
debuts (Musselburgh & Thirsk) before developing to win 4-5TO. Both
were his first runner of the season.
In summary likely to be less good than the sales price may suggest and
unlikely to be ready to compete close to her best on debut. Profile

Outpaced here on debut in a race run in a middling time and just kept on
for a remote 5th (Estimate [42]). Finished just in front of a filly
who runs in the Catterick seller today.
Trainer's runners tend to show reasonable improvement STO. Profile

Showed improvement of around 14lbs to win at Lingfield Estimate [63].
Looked to have muscled up relatively well from the sales. The second from
that race who was the disappointing favourite runs at Goodwood the day
before this race.
Gives 3lb to the previous runner Rack And Ruin and 6lb to the newcomers.
Trainers 2yos tend to show best form on STO and rarely show improvement
beyond that rating. On profile this does not look a better type who might

Post Race |
Drifted from 11/4 to 7/2 as second favourite with support for Rack And
Ruin. Broke well and set a strong pace on the rail in a duel with Rack
And Ruin (who ran freely & was restrained). Led by a neck at halfway
and the pace meant that she stalled from 1.5f out and Dream Rose who had
sat 2 lengths off the pace was able to make a effort to challenge as Rack
And Ruin dropped away.
She was tired in the last furlong but plugged on to hold the newcomer.
Looked the best size and build in a moderate group given the race quality.
Showed slightly improved form and credit for winning despite the pacemaking.
Can probably improve a little further. Estimate [70]

5f Fillies' Conditions |
Penalised 6lb for her last win and gives between 3lb to 9lb to the other
fillies. Ought to be able to rate low 70s and has shown the best pace of
the runners in this field and this would help if the race turns into a

11/4 at Newbury and set an average pace. Easily outpaced by the impressive
Flashy Wings and jockey just did enough to ensure she held 2nd in a three
runner race. Estimate [63]
Unlikely to show improvement here and we've now seen what happens when
she meets a useful 2yo. Profile [72 + 2 = 74]
