  • Retained for low to middling price at Tattersalls part 2 sales.
  • By a first season sire with a mixed pedigree that showed 2yo form over 6f. Sire made a moderate impression with yearlings and many were small although often with better builds. 
  • Sire has had one poor runner and one moderate one so far.
  • Dam has reasonably stout pedigree and won over 8f at 3yo showing better form that at 2yo.
  • The trainer has an interesting record with 2yos. She has only had two runners in the period 2002-4 and both were with 2yos retained at the sales as was this one. The debut performances of the runners have been a win at 16/1 and a second at 14/1. Both of those debuts were later in the season but a strong indication that the trainer gets them very close to their best on debut.
  • In summary a mixed story and the pedigree is not encouraging and the early debut is a slight worry here. However the trainer's record is interesting so difficult to discount entirely. Receives 4lb from the topweight fillies.  Profile [56 + 4 = 60]
