Made lowish price at cheaper Doncaster sales (but reasonable level by the
sale standards.)
Reviewed at the sales and small with a medium build. Looked limited to
mid 60s rating at best and little scope to develop.
Sire has reasonable record with 2yos although signs of it slightly declining
after a very good start. Can produce early 5f winners but as a general
rule they tend to develop and win from May onwards. The 3 wins before May
in 2003-4 have been split as two by the useful La Cucharacha and one in
a poor, draw affected race at Beverley.
He has had one minor 5f winner so far in 2005.
Dam was an above average sprint winner at 3yo but has produced one poor
runner who sold for a similar price.
Trainer had his first batch of 2yo runners (to April 2nd) more ready and
professional than any other trainer and they competed well. The debuts
since then have been lesser types suggesting those first debuts were carefully
selected.
In summary the pedigree of a 6f minor winner. Trainer will presumably have
her competent even if she is not as good as the first batch he showed us.

A non-runner at Windsor and runs 6 days later in this Conditions race which
has cut-up to be a moderate to average race. The trainer has not had a
runner in the race 2002-4.

Drifted from 4/1 to 6/1 as fourth favourite on debut having been a non-runner
earlier in the week in an ordinary auction race. Broke slightly slowly
from an inside draw and outpaced from the start in a race with a strong
pace. 6 lengths behind in last and driven along at halfway. The pacemakers
stalled and tired from 2.5f out and made her look as if she finished strongly
to third when she was staying on past dead tired horses.
Showed some inexperience and seemed to lack real 5f pace but credit for
plugging on. Looked a moderate physical type and still needs to strengthen.
Ran below expected level and not an obvious chance of a maiden win in the
near future. Estimate [54]

Just moderate promise and not obviously best suited to 5f on debut at Salisbury.
Good draw in 10 but needs to show more zip to use it. Profile

11/2 at Windsor in a race with a strong pace and the first 5 were in place
after a furlong. She settled in 6th the wrong side of a gap and remained
there. Lost a little ground after halfway. Estimate [58]
