  • Made a lowish price at the Goffs sales but above the level of the previous two British raced yearlings.
  • By second season sire who made solid start in 2005 with good number of winners and half the wins over 5f, including early season. Also had a solid record for 6f wins.
  • He has had only two poor runners in 2005.
  • Older dam has a patchy production record at stud and produced here first British winner (and second winner in total) when here last foal was a 5f winner at 2yo last year.
  • Trainer has made a slow start to the season and had no 2yo winner. He is getting started again after a break between early April and mid May. Does not target strong debuts and only 1 FTO win from 41 runs in 2003-4.
  • However, he had a debut winner in a moderate race at Carlisle 3 days ago who started at 25/1. His first 4 debut runners in 2005 have looked moderate types on the STO efforts. Normally the earliest debuts include some better, precocious 2yos. Worth checking the performance of his debuts from this first group after the break from early season.
  • In summary a moderate pedigree and likely to produce a 60s sprint 2yo at best. Will need the debut to develop from and, despite his rare FTO winner earlier in the week, unlikely to be able to win against runners with previous experience.  Profile [47]
