  • Retained for a poor price at the sales.
  • By a second season sire who has had few chances and this is his first British 2yo runner. He won over 5f at 2yo but showed his best form winning over 10f as an older horse.
  • Dam was placed over 10f at 3yo. She has produced one previous foal who won a Beverley 7.5F seller for this trainer on her debut in 2004.
  • Trainer has good record with 2yos but used to target STO wins and debuts were normally competent while leaving room for good improvement STO.  
  • He used only to get debut winners with runners in Italy. However in 2003-4 he had 5 debut winners although some of those seemed to be 'accidents' whereby the natural competence of his debut runners was enough to win weak races.    
  • This is is sixth debut of the season after a break from three early debuts. One of the early debuts won a weak race on debut and another won STO. The latest two debuts have both won -one drifted from 7/1 to 11/1  and the other was a supported favourite in weaker race.
  • The trainer won a seller on debut with the sibling in 2004.
