  • Made a middling price at the Doncaster St Leger sales but not notably good given the strong performances by Johnny Jumpup in 2004.
  • First season sire cost $1.5M as a yearling and won a Group 3 over 7f at 2yo after an August debut. He made an acceptable impression at the sales. B2yor reviewed 13 of his yearlings and they were a solid group although lacking higher quality. 
  • He has had one British runner so far who made a quiet debut over 5f and won over 6f 3TO.
  • Dam has produced two precocious 2yos of contrasting ability levels. Both have run and won or placed in early season over 5f.
  • Third debut of the year for an average 2yo trainer that made his name with older horses on the AW. Until 2003 his record with getting the 2yos started in early season was moderate and many earlier debuts were poor. The wins tended to come from mid season. 
  • In 2004 with a better group of 2yos he got a couple of debut wins with Listed+ winners although all other debuts were unplaced. 
  • He has had two poor debuts in 2005 who have both finished last. One in an average Newmarket maiden with a  runner supported in the market but showed inexperience. 
  • In summary an acceptable pedigree to make a competitive 2yo at some level over 5-6f. However, she would need to be useful to compete well here given the trainer's over FTO record. Profile [43]
