5f Auction |
Made lowish price at Goffs sales but still penalised 3lb in this auction
race.
Sire has below average record with 2yos after his Hamdam Al Maktoum supported
first season in 2001. Gets odd 5f winner but runners tend to need 6f+.
Runners tend to be better from mid-season onwards.
Dam has produced similar types with her last three Irish race foals. They
have needed 7f+ at 2yo and shown slight improvement for middle distances
at 3yo.
Smallish NH stable has only had one previous 2yo runner. In 2004 Lady Vee
ran four times at 2yo showing similar form on all runs. As a general rule
primarily NH trainers have 2yos fitter than the general average FTO.
In summary the pedigree of a 2yo that will nedd 6f and probably 7f to show
their best. Profile [52 - 3 = 49]

5f Auction |
20/1 and within 1.5 lengths of the pacemaker at halfway. Produced the worst
fade of those in the first half of the field from 2f out to finish 14th.
Estimate [42]
Runs STO only 4 days after debut - why? No obvious reasons to expect any
improvement. Profile [42 - 2 =40]

6f Auction |
10/1 with a 3lb apprentice in a poor race at Newcastle. Led for 3f+ then
showed a little responce when headed before fading quite badly in the last
furlong. Estimate [50]
The Newcastle race has proved to be even poorer than expected with none
of the runners from it competing well in a variety of races since. Given
a break and steps up to 6f after fading notably in two 5f aces where he
was close to the pace.
