  • Made a low price at the Tattersalls October Part 2 sales.
  • By a second season sire that made a good start with 2yos notable for good quality although an average number of winners. Got 6f winners but from May onwards. 
  • He has had two dual winners from 9 runners in 2005.
  • Dam showed poor form from 6-12f and has produced on 70ish rated winner from 3 foals.
  • First runner of the season for the trainer at a fairly typical start date (usually between mid-June to early July.).
  • Stable usually runs around ten 2yos each season. These are a mixture of those bought at the sales for between 5k to 20k gns and a number of owner breds. He has had a variable number of winners in line with the quality of the group of 2yos in each season. 
  • He does not target 2yo strongly and most runners will run to 3TO at most with a number having only a single, late season run. His strategy is to try to win a maiden or auction race in the first three runs. 
  • Debut runs are usually relatively poor with runners 15-20lbs below their best rating and at long SPs. His best 2yo in 2004 for example was 66/1 on debut and showed up better than most of his debuts in 4th but rating in the 60s.
