June 25th: Newmarket 7f Maiden	Owner bred by M. Jaber. French based sire has had a few runners in Britain 2002-4. His only winners have been over 6-7f in 2004. In general his 2yos have shown better form when stepped up to 6f+. Sire has had one winner at 6f for the same owner who won STO after a good debut. Dam has quite stout pedigree and showed moderate to average placed form at 3yo. She has produced one late developing 12f winner at stud. Trainer does not target FTO wins and those that win on debut are normally his best runners (or targeted debuts for specific owners). He has had 7 FTO wins from 28 runs in 2005 and above his usual rate although most of those fit the model of being better class 2yos running for one of the specific owners. His last 9 debuts have included 4 places without any looking likely to win which is close to his normal record. In summary the sire might add some speed to a stout pedigree but 7f looks a minimum.
