5f Auction Fillies |
Retained for lowish price at Tattersalls part 2 sales.
Third season sire has made a very good start to his career with 2yos in
2003-4. Has a good winner to runner percentage and good quality.
Sire gets wins at all distances including 5f. Has had only one 5f winner
before May. Debut win have tended to come April.
Dam has a mixed pedigree and was a 2yo winner in France and this is her
first foal.
Younger trainer with developing stable and has tried different approaches
to debut runs with 2yos. However his earliest debut in 2002 and 2004 were
competitive to place and one won. In 2004 the earliest debuts produced
a win and two seconds at 14/1, 10/1 and 9/2. None of these three improved
after their second run.
Trainer has had two uncompetitive runners so far in 2005 and we are not
later in the season than when he had the early wins in 2004.
Trainer has two runners and this possibly the second string on jockeys.
In summary a the pedigree of a minor 6f+ winner and unlikely to be ready
to compete on debut. Has a good draw in 16 if she has the pace to use it.
Receives 2lb from the topweights in a race with a 4lb range. Profile

Finished with seller types LTO, steps up to 6f. Trainer's runers have shown
variable ratings on 3TO so far but she starts from such a low base unlikely
to competitive here. Profile [40 + 5 = 45]
