April 2nd: Declared
for Doncaster Auction |
Sold for just an acceptable price at DSL.
By second season sire who had 5 moderate to average winners in first season,
only one at 5f although two early runners showed 60s form over 5f.
Older dam was sprint bred and made a placed 5f debut on April 7th on her
only 2yo run. She has produced a variety of types and quality with her
foals.
Trainer has poor 2yo record, debuts usually competent but at low level,
gets occasional placed debuts in weak races including in early season.
This will be his first runner of the season.
In summary a reasonable pedigree for a minor (50s probably) sprint 2yo.
Trainer's poor record with 2yos a real negative although he tends to have
them competent to compete to close to their best on debut. Profile

April 13th: Declared for

the race. Trainer's runners tend not to progress from debut.

newcomer ridden by his wife.
