  • Retained for a poor price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales and a notable decrease from he amount bid for him at the foal sales.
  • Sire has a poor record with 2yos and 2003-4 were moderate for both number of winners and quality. He had not a 5f 2yo winner in Britain in his first three years and has not had a 6f winner here in the last two seasons. He has only had one winner before the end of May. 
  • Sire had a 5f winner in a moderate to average maiden fillies race yesterday with strong help from the dam. 
  • Dam is very well related but did not race. Only one of her previous foals has raced (three runs) showing average palced form.
  • Small stable tends to work with bargain basement 2yos and gets the competitive ones ready early in the season. He does not target strong debuts other than in targeted selling races.

Trainer said that some of 'the boys' in his stable thought he had some ability and perhaps that causd the support. Broke slightly slowly in a race with a solid pace and more than 5L behind at halfway. Outpaced from there andthen faded.  Estimate [12]
