May 16th: Windsor
5f Maiden Fillies' |
Resold for poor price at British sale after making slightly more at an
Irish sale.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 70 with a good chance of being a 2yo winner.
He was small but with a well above average build with good depth. He was
very neat and in proportion and a good, balanced, mover.
First Season Sire only ran at 7f as 2yo. Made moderate impression at sales.
B2yoR reviewed 9 of his yearling sales and most were moderate.
Sire has had five moderate runners so far plus one more promising debut
over 6f.
Dam was trained by H Cecil and did not run until late in her 3yo career
over 10f. As with many Cecil runners she showed her best form on her first
run - but that was moderate level.
Small stable and has a varying strategy with 2yos recently and appears
to have gone back to earlier season debuts this year. However, debut runs
are consistently well below final ratings. She has had two poor 2yo FTO
runs so far.
Trainer runs two here and this one well drawn in 16 of 16 but has an inexperienced
7lb apprentice.
In summary almost certainly a poor debut. Profile [18]
