May 12th: Salisbury
5f Maiden |
Made a lowish to middling price at the Goffs sales.
Second season sire made an acceptable start with 2yos in 2004 with an ok
number of winners although only average quality at best. He got wins over
all distances from May onwards. The two 5f wins were split as one
on Heavy ground and one in a moderate race.
Dam was a cheap sales purchase who showed moderate form in winning over
6f at 2yo.
Stable does not target FTO wins but most runners are competent on debut
and within 5-8lb of their best rating FTO (rating 60-74 range for runners
with ability). Most runners are unplaced at longer SPs on debut because
of the overall low quality of her 2yos.
She has had 4 previous debuts in 2005 which have been unplaced and match
the usual model. She runs two in this race and the other is on STO run.
In summary could be a minor sprint winner, probably over 6f but unlikely
to be competitive with the best in the race. Profile [54]
