5f Maiden Fillies' |
Sold for lowish price at Tattersalls Ireland sales. Trainer has entered
and run a number of Irish sales bought 2yos in 2003. This one cheaper than
the 3 that have already run.
By First Season Sire that won over 6f in first half of its 2yo season.
Sire made good impression at sales and likely to get some early sprint
winners.
The sire has has made a good start with two 5f winners in slow races.
Dam showed poor form over 7-8f and has produced a minor sprint winner in
the Czech Republic.
Trainer has poor record with the few minor 2yos she has run in 2002-4.
However she has already entered a batch of runners which cost more than
her normal sale spend and has had a 3TO winner with the most expensive.
However on 2005 evidence debuts tend to be well below the best rating.
Trainer has two runners and both have senior jockeys riding.
A moderate pedigree and likely to need the debut run to develop from. Profile

14/1 and showed a little ability on debut in a slow 5f race on testing
ground. Travelled 3 wide and made some ground on the uphill section and
slightly fading late. Estimate [48]
The strength of that form is moderate but ok by trainer standards. She
has prospects to improve form that and that would make her competitive
in this moderate race. One issue is how she will handle this different
test on a downhill track. Receives 3lb from the unpenalised colts. Profile

8/1 to 10/1. Visored and ran freely early in the race. Settled in 4th behind
a solid pace and 2L off the leader at halfway. Soon struggling afterwards
and slightly outpaced and then faded. Estimate [23]
The form of her debut run looks worse given how poorly they have competed
in a variety of races since. Even so, the STO run was a disappointment
and she runs without a visor and steps up to 6f. Profile [46]
