5f Auction |
Made a middling price at the Tattersalls Part 2 sales and topweight in
this Auction race.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 73. Medium size and just above average
build, slightly leggy and light behind. Positives in his maturity and his
movement and unusual at the sales that he was able to use his range properly.
Second season sire made good start in 2004 with a good number of winners
and some with quality. The better types developed through season. Got winners
between 5-7f but better record at 6f and only one winner before May 21.
He had his first two winners in 2005 in early May.
He has had two winners over 5-6f this season.
Dam showed poor form and broke her maiden over 5.7f at 4yo.
Small stable has run only 3 2yos in the last two seasons. They all made
poor debuts at very long SPs and showed no form.
In summary probably an expensive 2yo for the stable and interesting to
see what they achieve with it. A mixed story at the sales with the movement
and maturiy mostly offsetting concerns about the lack of build and power
behind. Likely to need further than 5f. Profile [50]
